Campaign Zero partnered with the Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) to launch the “End Excited Delirium” campaign. This initiative aims to eliminate the controversial and scientifically discredited diagnosis of “excited delirium,” which has often been used to justify excessive use of force by law enforcement and has disproportionately impacted marginalized communities.

Partnering with interdisciplinary experts provided an opportunity to understand the medical communities role in structural racism in the criminal legal system.
