Decades of corruption and mismanagement have shown that New York City is unable to address the deadly human rights crisis created by the Department of Correction. Campaign Zero developed various public resources and tools to demand that control be taken away from Mayor Adams to save lives.

The public pressure applied by Campaign Zero helped shift the conversation, leading dozens of elected officials and community leaders to call for a receiver to take control of Rikers Island Jail away from Mayor Adams.
